CPE Information
On-demand self study course available to IIA members are offered through a partnership third party training providers. All IIA service providers are certified in accordance with National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) standards to offer online self-study course. Continual Professional Education (CPE) credits earned for these courses are issued by the service providers.

The Institute of Internal Auditors is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Registering for Self-Study by Accessing GEAR
To access the GEAR system which hosts IIA Self-study Courses, please log in at the top of the screen with your Member ID and Password, and select LOG IN. Once you are logged in, select the “Access GEAR” link on the top of the screen.
